Is this legal?
Yes. Federal law gives you the right to dispute anything on your report that is inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable, and the bureaus have 30 days to investigate. We do that on your behalf, in writing, with your signed authorization. You can also do it yourself for free, and we will tell you that to your face. What you are paying for is somebody who does it correctly and does not stop.
How long does it take?
Each dispute round runs about 30 to 45 days because that is the window the bureaus get. Most files take several rounds, so 6 to 12 months is normal, and the expedited track moves faster because your file goes first and the strategy is more aggressive. Anyone who promises you a date is guessing.
What if nothing gets removed?
Then nothing gets removed. We cannot take off anything that is accurate, current and verifiable, and neither can anyone else. We charge for work after it is performed, never before, and you can walk away at any time. You are not locked into a year of payments for a result nobody can guarantee.
Why do you need my Social Security number?
The bureaus will not talk to us about your file without it. It is encrypted, it is used to pull and review your reports, and it is never included in anything we send to a lender. Pulling your own report this way is a soft inquiry and does not affect your score.
Can I change my mind?
You have three business days after signing to cancel for any reason, with no penalty and a full refund. After that you can stop whenever you want and you owe only for work already done. Email us the words "I am cancelling" and that is enough.
